WHAT TO WEAR

Costumes and period clothing is not required, but we recommend embracing the theme for the evening and coming in your favorite 60s inspired outfit.  Are you an Audrey, a Twiggy or an Eartha?  Whether bohemian or polished put on your grooviest look and add to the fun!

A little history about fashion in the 1960s:
Clothing was more casual then the 1950s had been. Womenswear followed three broad trends: a continuation of the previous decade’s ladylike elegance, the youthful styles of Mary Quant and the Space Age influence, and the late 1960s “hippie” style. Menswear saw an increasing amount of color and pattern, military influence, heeled boots, and new fashion icons in the form of rock stars.
